«The Marine, Environment and Technology Center (MARETEC) at Instituto Superior Técnico (MARETEC) is pleased to announce the seminar “Electricity and Computing: Past, Present and Future Efficiency and Constraints”, by Ricardo Pinto Pinto (on the right in the photo), a PhD student at the Marine, Environment and Technology Center (MARETEC). The seminar is organised by MARETEC and is part of MARETEC Talks which take place on the third Wednesday of every month.»

In the seminar, Ricardo Pinto will, among other results, present a study providing evidence of a global stabilization in the long-run electricity consumption in computing. The study was made with Tiago Domingos and Tânia Sousa (also in the photo).»
