The ORBITAL (Ocular Research By Integrated Training and Learning) network will organise a World Cafe event at Técnico – Alameda campus, titled “The Patient as the Teacher”, on 26th March 2022, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

The event is organised by ORBITAL Consortium members: Técnico, the Instituto da Retina e Diabetes Ocular de Lisboa, the Fighting Blindness (USA), the Waterford Institute of Technology (Ireland), and supported by the World Cafe Community Foundation (Canada), and aims to train researchers to PhD level, ensuring that they have a clear focus on patient needs (e.g. Age-Related Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma and Diabetic Eye Disease).
Venue: Alameda campus, main building, 1st floor – Salão Nobre.
