The interdisciplinary thematic network on Health at Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa) – REDEsaúde is pleased to announce the workshop “O desafio dos dados: Uma nova fronteira nas doenças neurodegenerativas” (“The challenge of data: A new frontier in neurodegenerative diseases”), on 31st January, in ULisboa Rectorate building (Great Hall) and Online.
The diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases is a growing concern and one of the biggest challenges in modern medicine. This workshop aims to stimulate discussion on how to improve the use of data to enhance decision-making in the context of neurodegenerative diseases.
The workshop includes four sessions covering topics such as data science; research projects focused on data and neurodegenerative diseases; sensors and their application; and the complexity of data governance in health from the perspective of various actors.
