The Seminar “Descarbonização da Economia – Novos Desafios para os Edifícios” will take place on May 29, at ISQ (auditorium).
This event aims to present two European research projects, MOEEBIUS and CLIMACT, and to disseminate the most recent developments in the framework, implementation and funding of energy efficiency.
PROJECT MOEEBIUS | MOEEBIUS – “Modelling Optimization of Energy Efficiency in Buildings for Urban Sustainability” introduces a holistic methodology of energy efficiency optimization aiming to improve modelling strategies and deliver innovative simulating tools which describe real-life building operation complexities. The MOEEBIUS framework will be validated in 3 large-scale pilot sites, located in Portugal, United Kingdom and Serbia.
PROJECT CLIMACT | CLIMACT – “Acting for the transition to a low carbon economy in schools – development of support tools” aims to promote the transition to a low carbon economy in the education sector, creating a thematic network in the SUDOE region driven by a Living Lab methodology, which will support the development of innovative tools and specific business models for schools. The methodology will be conducted in 35 pilot schools located in Portugal, Spain, France and Gibraltar.
