On October 25, at 11 a.m., will take place the seminar “Societal Impact in Marine Research”, presented by professor Ivo Grigorov from the Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (TUD), at the Civil Engineering building (room 4.41) – Alameda campus.

Marine Research is relevant across Societal Challenges and UN Sustainable Development Goals, but will be the research excellence alone sufficient to achieve optimal societal impact, and deliver solution to societal challenges in the fastest and most optimal way? The informal discussion will address additional skills marine researcher need for securing grant proposals and optimising societal impact, as well as being prepared for a more diverse set of indicators that will define future research career evaluations.

The seminar is organised by CERENA-Técnico and redeMAR da ULisboa.
