The event “Space Tech Entrepreneurship in the Artemis Generation 2026–2040” will take place on May 26, 2026, at the Oeiras Campus of Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, marking the official launch of ESA BIC Tagus, the European Space Agency’s (ESA) new Business Incubation Center.
This initiative represents a significant milestone in strengthening the national ecosystem, with a focus on the transfer of space technology to innovative commercial applications and the creation of new opportunities for science- and technology-based entrepreneurship.
Set within the context of the so-called Artemis Generation, the event “Space Tech Entrepreneurship in the Artemis Generation 2026–2040” promotes reflection on the role of Europe and Portugal in the new space economy, bringing together academia, industry, students, and entrepreneurs to discuss emerging trends and challenges in the sector.
