«The Street Shop is a charity event organised by the Técnico Students’ Union (AEIST) that aims to donate clothing to those who need them the most, namely Lisbon’s homeless and underprivileged communities. This initiative is carried out in partnership with associations that work with these communities
The main aim of Street Shop is not only to provide an opportunity to obtain clothing, but also to promote inclusion and human development for participants and volunteers.
The Técnico community is invited to participate and help by donating clothing. This can be done until January 3, 2024, at Alameda and Taguspark campi, in Secção de Folhas, during opening hours.
In addition, the community is also invited to volunteer and help with set-up and dismantling, donate clothing during the event and accompany participants.
