The Técnico’s student newspaper “Diferencial” has been in circulation since 1987. It has changed over the years, keeping the focus on giving voice to “the most important issues in higher education, in the country and in the world”. Much more than words and texts, this newspaper published by the Técnico Students’ Union (AEIST) promotes debates, organises poetry competitions and cinema sessions, disseminates cultural events, podcasts and thematic playlists… in order to “foster critical thinking in students”.
