Professor Tiago Domingos, from MARETEC/DEM-IST, will integrate, together with brazilian director and environmental activist Fernando Meirelles, sociologist Luísa Schmidt and economist Filipa Saldanha, the panel of the RTP3 program “Fronteiras XXI” titled “What can we do for the planet?”, which will be broadcast this wednesday, September 18, 10:30 p.m.
This program aims to discuss the solutions that people, businesses and organizations can put in place to ensure the sustainability of all who live on planet Earth.
Professor Tiago Domingos is a researcher and president of Marine, Environment and Technology Centre (MARETEC) and coordinator of Environmental Sciences and Engineering Platform (IST-Ambiente). His main research area is Ecological Economics, on which he works in the spectrum from fundamental research to practical applications, among others, in sustainable agriculture, ecosystem services management and sustainable energy systems, with over one hundred publications cited in the scientific literature.
