«The visit to Galp Refinery in Sines will be a unique experience to get an up-close look at how the country’s only refinery operates.

The main goal of this visit is to allow young talents to explore a complex industrial environment and see how the theoretical knowledge learnt in class is applied on a large scale.

During the visit, participants will gain insights into how the energy industry works as a whole, from fuel production to waste and byproduct management.

The visit will be conducted in Portuguese. Transportation to and from the refinery will be provided by Galp.»
