The 7th edition of Viver a Cultura @ Técnico Taguspark will include performances by two saxophonists and students from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Gonçalo Jesus and Vasco Vaz. Coming from Madeira Island and Cascais, respectively, the students joined TMIST.

Gonçalo Jesus participated in several orchestras, bands and improvisation groups, all of them part of the Direcção de Serviços de Educação Artística (Artistic Education Services Directorate) in Madeira Island. Vasco Vaz, on the other hand, became interested in playing the saxophone after joining TMIST and, since then, he has not stopped evolving.

The musical session will take place at Taguspark campus, on January 9, where the students will play the saxophone, teach their skills and explain how the instrument works. The event is open to the Técnico community and free of charge.
