The results of the SARS Control project will be presented on March 31. The project consortium includes Universidade de Lisboa, Águas de Portugal and University of Minho.
The project aimed to better understand the behaviour of the SARS-CoV-2 virus over the course of the treatment chain for urban waste waters (liquid phase and solid phase), and assess to what extent wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) are effective barriers to the spread of the virus.
The results will be presented online (live streaming). Registration is required.
