«The Técnico Library is pleased to announce the videoconference (Zoom) “Measuring up metrics of research impact”, on May 29th.

The guest speaker will be Professor Manolis Antonoyiannakis, Senior Associate Editor and Bibliostatistics Analyst at the American Physical Society. With an extensive experience in scholarly publishing and research assessment, Professor Manolis Antonoyiannakis will present some of the most popular metrics, analysing their advantages and disadvantages and providing some guidelines for their fair and responsible use in the process of evaluating scientific research.
