The article “Efficient pseudopotentials for plane-wave calculations”, by N. Troullier and José Luís Martins, Full Professor at the Department of Physics, Técnico, and published in Physical Review B on 15th January 1991, was cited 10,000 times last week.
According to professor Pedro T. Abreu, Vice-president for Communication and Image of the Department of Physics, this is “an extraordinary number of citations for a publication involving only two co-authors”.
