According to data released by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education (MCTES), this Thursday, 14th October, 9.154 students were placed in the 2nd call of the National Competition for Access to Public Higher Education (CNAES) 2021/2022, of which 175 were admitted at Técnico.
The minimum grade point of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Physics raised above 19 points, comparing with the 1st phase results. Aerospace Engineering set once again the highest grade of the last student admitted (191.8). Engineering Physics continues to attract the best students from all over the country, setting its minimum admission grade to 191.3.
Computer Science and Engineering – Alameda (20), Mechanical Engineering (16), Electronics Engineering (15), Civil Engineering (14), Engineering in Mining and Energy Resources (13), Chemical Engineering (10) and Electrical and Computer Engineering (10), had the highest number of admitted students in the 2nd phase of CNAES.
602 students applied to Técnico, of which only 175 were admitted. More than half (57.1%) entered their 1st choice course. All places available in the 2nd call have been filled.
The students placed in the 2nd call must enroll until 18th October.
In total (1st and 2nd phase), 51.431 candidates were admitted in Portuguese public higher education institutions.
