Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa) will organise the Christmas solidarity campaign “18 Escolas, 18 Ajudas” from 11th to 19th December 2023, to support the Centro de Apoio ao Sem Abrigo (CASA).
In a troubled world full of challenges, the fight against social inequalities must be a cause for reflection, confronting the reality that is constantly unfolding before our eyes: poverty and human suffering. CASA helps the homeless, Families at Risk or Families in Need, through social solidarity actions, providing close contact, food, clothing and social reintegration assistance, regardless of social class, ethnicity, religion or gender.
Warm clothes and toiletries:
– Sleeping bags, blankets, socks, men’s underwear, hats, gloves, scarves, men’s belts
– Hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, sanitary towels, baby wipes, deodorant, shower gel, shampoo)
Food for cooking and distribution to households:
– Olive oil
– Vegetarian: Fine and coarse granulated soya, Seitan
– Cereals
– Nestum
– Peas (tinned)
– Mushrooms (tinned)
Collection points:
Drop-off points at the Central Services and Social Action Services. Goods can also be delivered to the Rectorate building, the Cantina Velha (Old Canteen), the Natural History and Science Museum and the Lisbon University Stadium (Swimming Pool).
