Professors David Matos (DEI), Luísa Coheur (DEI) and Rui de Castro (DEEC) were appointed Associate Professors of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DEI), and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DEEC). The ceremony took place on 15th January. The new IST associate professors were appointed by the President of IST, professor Rogério Colaço.

The ceremony was attended by professor Raquel Aires Barros, president of Pedagogical Board (CP), professor Luís Oliveira e Silva, president of Scientific Board (CC), professor Leonel Sousa, president of DEEC, and professor José Carlos Monteiro, president of DEI.
