For the first time in 16 years, four Técnico Rugby players are part of the Portugal Rugby Team, which qualified for the World Cup 2023.

The four Técnico Rugby players are André Arrojado, Simão Pedro, Raffaele Sorti (Técnico alumnus) and Pedro Lucas (Técnico student).

The Portugal Rugby Team qualified last November 18 for the Rugby World Cup 2023. This is the second time Portugal has qualified for this competition.
