Susana Cardoso de Freitas, professor at the Department of Physics, Instituto Superior Técnico and researcher at INESC Microsystems and Nanotechnologies (INESC MN) has been awarded the title of “Distinguished Lecturer for 2023” by the IEEE Magnetics Society.

The Técnico professor was awarded the title of “Distinguished Lecturer for 2023” based on her excellent work in the area of magnetic sensors, from ultrathin films to integration in advanced systems.

This title is given to researchers who contribute to technologies based on magnetic components.

In this context, Professor Susana Cardoso de Freitas will give at least 20 lectures all over the world in 2023, in cooperation with the communities of several IEEE Magnetics regions (Europe, Asia, America and Africa), targeting Industry, Research Centres and Universities.
