The IST Outstanding Teaching Award is delivered annually during the celebrations of “Dia do Técnico” and aims to reward excellence in teaching.

This award is based on students surveys – QUC System. The IST Outstanding Teaching Award is given to professors who have obtained the maximum score in all evaluation criteria (the scale ranges from 1 to 9).

This year, the IST Outstanding Teaching Award will be given to professor Aleksandar Ilic (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering) and professor Nuno João Neves Mamede (Department of Computer Science and Engineering).

The celebrations of Dia do Técnico will take place on 23rd May.
