IST Press published the printed version of the book “Topologia em Matéria Condensada: Uma Introdução”, by Miguel Araújo and Pedro Sacramento.

This book aims at being a pedagogical introduction to the concepts of Topology in Condensed Matter Physics and brings together the basic theoretical concepts of the topic, many of them recently developed and dispersed in scientific literature.

The text covers the basic concepts of topological properties, namely, symmetries and main topological invariants.

The first chapters include application examples and exercises in order to better understand the subjects.

The book is also available in digital version.
