The Portuguese Confederation of Junior Enterprises recognised the Junior Enterprises at Instituto Superior Técnico (JUNITEC) as the Junior Enterprise of the Year for the third time at the jeniAL Awards 2024 ceremony, held in Coimbra, on April 6. The event was attended by more than 200 national junior entrepreneurs, professors and managers.
The president of JUNITEC, Gonçalo Reis, says that the award “confirms that JUNITEC is on the right track and is making a difference”, as the projects developed “respond to concrete real-life problems”. A good example is “Oficina de Sons”, a playful platform that helps children acquire language skills by associating sounds with words and/or images, with which Junitec won the European award “Most Impactful Project”, awarded by Junior Enterprises Europe (JE Europe), in March this year.
