JUNITEC wins the “Junior Enterprise of the Year” award

In addition to this award, JUNITEC won another 3 jeniAL Awards.

The Junior Enterprises at Instituto Superior Técnico (JUNITEC) won 4 jeniAL Awards at jeniAL’22 – Junior Enterprises National Interchange for Advancement and Leadership, the biggest event organised by the Portuguese Junior Enterprises. JUNITEC won the awards in the following categories: “Junior Enterprise of the Year”, “Most Innovative Junior Enterprise”, “Most Socially Responsible Junior Enterprise” and “Project of the Year”, which recognised the CeiiA 2.0 project, developed in partnership with CeiiA.

The award ceremony took place last Saturday, March 26, at ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management.

“We couldn’t be prouder of our results”, says Maria João Carvalho, president of JUNITEC. “These awards recognise the quality of our work. In addition, it is also the confirmation of the impact of our work on society through technology, innovation and entrepreneurship”, she adds. “This would not have been possible without the commitment and talent of all team members who contribute to JUNITEC’s continuous growth”.

The jury was composed of David Dias (Deloitte), Cláudia Carvalho (Microsoft), Margarida Magalhães (NOS), Rodrigo Sousa Coutinho (Outsystems), Simão Nogueira (NestCollective), Marta Miraldes (Startup Lisboa), Patricia Serrrano (BGI), Raquel Pires (INOV), Luisa Valente (P&G), Pedro Silva (Spread), Joana Loureiro (Jerónimo Martins), Diana Nunes (Antena 3 and RTP 3) and Isaura Quevedo (CNN Portugal).
