Drones are commonly used to perform difficult, monotonous or dangerous tasks for humans, such as environmental monitoring or disaster sites, image acquisition for multimedia purposes or fertilization on crop fields. On the other hand, they can be used for recreational purposes.
The MOOC Técnico “Drone Simulation and Control” aims to analyse multirotor drones, develop a simulator in order to identify its control systems and find solutions for its automatic control. A new edition will start on March, 2nd, 2020.
The course is free and open to all. It is intended for graduate and undergraduate students as well as professionals in the fields of engineering, coding, among others.
