Técnico organised its 3rd International Week, from 12th to 16th June, at Alameda Campus. The International Day took place on the last day.
In an informal context, 40 participants from 16 countries were able to interact with peers from other universities. The current challenges of the internationalisation process of higher education were the focus of the event, which also included the sharing of experiences, ideas and best practices.
According to Iris Rösch from Friederich-Alexander-Universtät Erlangen, Nuremberg (Germany), the event allowed participants to acquire knowledge and skills and also “to get to know the culture of the city”. This is the sixth time that Federico Zancanaro, from the Università Luav of Venice (Italy), attends the staff week and the third time he visits Lisbon. “It’s going very well”, he highlights
The International Day took place on the last day, at Alameda Campus, in the Civil Engineering building, after a week full of workshops, visits inside and outside the Alameda Campus, and job shadowing activities.
The event included a fair and brought together about 20 higher education institution representatives who participated in the Internal Staff Week, shared information and clarified doubts.
This year’s edition “brought together several European and Latin America institutions”, which has contributed to “strengthen partnerships and pave the way for future opportunities”, explained Denise Matos, Head of the International Affairs Division.
