The study room at the Técnico Innovation Center, one of the largest study rooms in the country, is now open to all students from Instituto Superior Técnico and other schools of Universidade de Lisboa, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. To access the room, students must show their student card to the security guard.

This is the first phase of the opening of the building located in the former Gare do Arco do Cego, in Lisbon. The Técnico Innovation Center was presented to the public on 18th October and aims to become a benchmark for innovation, with collaborative working spaces, an exhibition area and a multi-purpose space for hosting events with more than 300 people. A restaurant space will be open soon.

The project represents an investment of 12 million euros and has received funding from Fidelidade Insurance Company and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), under the Lisbon Regional Operational Programme (Lisboa 2020).
