The President of the High Council of Public Works (CSOP), Carlos Mineiro Alves, has invited the Técnico professor Maria do Rosário Partidário to coordinate the Independent Technical Commission that will study the location of the new airport.

The aim of this commission will be to analyse the strategic options for increasing airport capacity in the Lisbon region, as well as to carry out a strategic environmental assessment.
