Four Técnico master course students in Microbiology, Bioengineering and Nanosystems won a five thousand euros award from the European Commission, for the creation of a device that allow to detect, on time, the bacteria causing urinary infection.

The project was awarded by the European Commission Representation in Portugal, under the 2016 Entrepreneurship Scholarship. The priority of these students is to register a patent and to build a prototype.
