The inauguration ceremony of the new members of Pedagogic Council (PC), Course Coordinators, Course Delegates and Presidents of the Research and Development Units took place this Thursday, in Salão Nobre.

Professor Fátima Montemor, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, opened the session and thanked the “dedication and collaboration” of the outgoing members. The professor took the opportunity to note that the Management Board will always be available for what is needed.

The outgoing President of PC, professor Raquel Aires-Barros, thanked all for the “trust” that have been vested in her, which allowed “the development of most activities”. The professor left a word to the new members: “We contribute to improve Técnico and to make it an even better school”.

Professor Arlindo Oliveira, president of Técnico, closed the session, thanking the audience and remembering that everyone’s goal is “to strive for excellence in training quality.” The professor also thanked the outgoing members of PC for “their exceptional and active role throughout their mandate”.
