The Final Pitch of the 2022 E.Awards@Técnico took place on July 13, at Técnico – Alameda campus (Salão Nobre). Several projects were presented during the session, namely outGoing, UAVisual Maintenance, FOODcoat, Lighthouse, WELLAS and moldAI.

The following projects were awarded as follows:

Best E.Project by Santander – moldAI project, developed by the Técnico students Gonçalo Canhoto, José Lourenço, Pedro Henriques and André Gomes.

Honourable Mention by Accenture – WELLAS project, developed by the Técnico students Daniela Muntean, Daniel Wagner, Muktadir Rumi, Marta Pereira, Vincent Gemar and Bruno Gomes.

Honourable Mention by Armilar – outGoing project, developed by the Técnico students Rodrigo Fernandes, Afonso Barbosa, Luis Ferreira and Diogo Venâncio.

Best Poster by Accenture – Invisock project and Eletrici Tree project.

The jury was composed of Dr. Cristina Dias Neves (Santander Universities), Engineer José Guerreiro de Sousa (Partner of Armilar Venture Partners), Mauro Rosa (Associate Director at Accenture Portugal), Daniel Vila Boa (founder of Chilltime) and Professor Luís Caldas de Oliveira (Deputy Director of iStartLab, IST Innovation Laboratory). The winning teams in the “Best Poster” category were voted by the Técnico community, involving 1016 votes.

The session also included the IST Spin-Off community annual meeting and the presentation of new members, namely Alfredo AI Real Estate Analytics, Aftermath, Eptune Engineering, CLYNX and Innuos.

The E.Awards is an innovation contest organised by the Technology Transfer Office at Técnico, with the support of Santander Universities, Accenture and Armilar Venture Partners, which aims to promote and reward entrepreneurial and innovative projects developed by Técnico students.
