Joana Lourenço, student of Chemical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, stood out at the European Universities Games and won two medals in Taekwondo.

The student won Female Freestyle category and ranked 2nd in Female Poomsae category.

Over the past few years, Joana Lourenço has been Taekwondo’s national universities champion and won Taekwondo’ s national championship in 2010. She represented Universidade de Lisboa/Instituto Superior Técnico in Croatia.
