TFIST won three awards in the 10th edition of the festival “Capas Ricas”, organised by in’Spiritus Tuna – Tuna Feminina da Cooperativa Egas Moniz, last weekend. TFIST won the awards in the categories of best soloist, best instrumental and best theme. “These awards are the result of our commitment and desire of promoting Portuguese music”, stresses Carlota Vasques.

Besides TFIST, a C’a Tuna aos Saltos – Tuna Médica Feminina da UBI; TADeL- Tuna Académica Dentária de Lisboa; and Tun’Obebes – Tuna Feminina de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho competed in this edition. Carlota Vasques also highlighted that “it’s amazing to share the stage with each other. There’s a lot we can achieve if we work together”.

The team will participate at the festival “XIII Expedição – Festival de Tunas Femininas do Instituto Superior Técnico”, to be held on November 3, in Aula Magna.
