The submission of texts for the Dramatic Text Competition by the University of Lisbon Staff Theatre Group (GTFUL) is open until 31st December 2023. The winning work will be performed by the Group.
Original theatre works can be submitted, written in Portuguese, in any theatrical genre and with a free theme, but suitable for the GTFUL in terms of the number of actors (up to 9 performers), the duration of approximately 60 minutes and taking into account the feasibility of producing the show.
This is the first edition of the GTFUL Dramatic Text Competition, which will publicise, publish and stage the winning work. In addition to the exhibition, the winning work will receive a cash prize of €500.00 (five hundred euros).
This competition, which celebrates the Group’s 10th anniversary, is part of the ULisboa 10th anniversary and offers a unique opportunity to express creativity and contribute to a culturally vibrant and stimulating university environment.
