Every year, new ideas are born in curricular units focused on Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Product Development.
Solutions are prototyped, hypotheses are tested, and business models are refined. The E.Awards@Técnico exists to give these ideas a stage. Applications are now open for the eighth edition of the competition that recognises the most promising projects developed by Técnico students.
What it is
An initiative that encourages, recognises and showcases student-driven innovation developed within Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Product Development curricular units. The competition is supported by Fundação Santander, Accenture, and Armilar Venture Partners.
Who can apply
Teams composed of Técnico students enrolled in entrepreneurship, product development and innovation curricular units in the 2025–2026 academic year.
Other curricular units may be included upon proposal by the responsible instructor.
Excluded: projects developed within dissertation/thesis units.
Prizes
Best E.Project by Fundação Santander – €5,000
Honorable Mention by Accenture – €1,000
Honorable Mention by Armilar Venture Partners – €1,000
Best Poster by Accenture – 2 awards of €500 each
How it works
Up to six projects will be selected for the Final Pitch, where each team will present a 3-minute pitch.
All submitted projects are also eligible for the Best Poster award, with a 1-minute pitch.
Selection criteria include: technology and degree of innovation, potential social and/or environmental impact, technical feasibility and execution, team competence and fit, and validation/market potential of the business or impact model.
