The LIP Internship Program is a Laboratory of Instrumentation and Experimental Particle Physics summer program for Physics and Engineering students, with its 6th edition in 2022.
The internships last between two weeks and two months, and take place in the three LIP nodes, in Braga, Coimbra and Lisbon, with common (virtual) activities.
The program includes a week of introductory lectures on Particle and Astroparticle Physics, detectors and experimental methods, and tutorial sessions on the use of computer tools in data analysis, in July. The program ends with a workshop where each intern contributes a summary presentation of their work in September. At the end of the internship, participants are given the opportunity to produce a *final paper* summarising their work.
