The MOOC “Valores Próprios” is an open online course, which runs self-paced, about eigenvalues and eigenvectors with a focus on the Linear Algebra concepts of linear transformations, dynamic systems, and other models. The proposed models can find applications in steady states algorithms, image compression, PageRank search algorithm, and BigData PCA analysis, amongst others.
Target audience:
Higher education students, both enrolled in Linear Algebra courses, and students who desire to review the concepts in order to apply them to the fields of Statistic, and Artificial Intelligence, in particular Machine Learning.
