Stanford University and Elsevier released an update of the World’s Top 2% Scientists list, which includes 200,000 researchers. In total, more than 120 Técnico researchers are among the most-cited scientists worldwide, including three scientists in both the top 10 of single-year impact, in 2022 (José Bioucas Dias, Carlos Guedes Soares and Jorge de Brito) and of career-long impact (Fernando Lopes da Silva, Carlos Guedes Soares e José Bioucas Dias).
