MOOC Técnico is launching a new online course on the topic: Everyday Science.
This online course aims to help reduce scientific illiteracy. Participants will find answers to questions about everyday phenomena, using simple experiments, analogies or metaphors where possible, making use of visual aids, starting from what people know to add (or deconstruct and reconstruct) additional knowledge. And without (or with a minimum of) mathematics.
The “Everyday Science” MOOC is aimed at curious people who are interested in understanding how the world around us works, as well as the technology we use on a daily basis.
Access to materials:
- Access to the course is absolutely free and completely online;
- The contents are always open and each participant takes the course at their own pace;
- The course materials will remain available to all registered users after the end of this edition so that they can return to the content at a later date;
- The oral presentation of the videos is in Portuguese, accompanied by slides in the same language, also the transcripts are accessible in Portuguese.
