Registrations for the 2nd edition of the Oeiras Valley Award are open until 15th April.
Eligible students: Undergraduate, PhD and MSc students enrolled in the following curricular units: Information Systems, Engineering, Management, Economy, Marketing and Communication, Digital Transformation, IoT, Artificial Intelligence or Sea Economy, in the academic year 2021/2022. Students can register individually or in a group composed or 2 to 5 students and a professor (optional).
Candidates who have completed their undergraduate, postgraduate or master’s programme in the academic year 2020/2021 are eligible to register provided that their registration includes a university professor as advisor.
This award aims to recognise the best projects developed by undergraduate, master and postgraduate students and professors, in the following strategic areas:
Sustainable Mobility Solutions;
Smart cities;
Projects related to the Economy of the Sea;
Intelligent territorial management;
CyberSafe Cities (cybersecurity and cyberdefense in Smart Cities, IoT and Digital Transformation).
The three best projects will be awarded monetary prizes at the Award Ceremony.
. 1st place: €5000 (For the professor, if applicable: €2500).
. 2nd place: €3000 (For the professor, if applicable: €2000).
. 3rd place: €2000 euros (For the professor, if applicable: €1500).
