Professor Ana Tostões is Honorary Member of the Portuguese Order of Architects

The professor was distinguished for her contributions to the “promotion and dissemination of the Portuguese architecture in several countries and continents”.

This Wednesday, professor Ana Tostões, from the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Georesources at Técnico, was made Honorary Member of the Portuguese Order of Architects (OA).

The Order has the tradition of granting honorary membership, within the national celebrations of the World Architecture Day, to natural or legal persons who have made outstanding contributions within OA’s statutory goals and the theme proposed by the International Union of Architects for the World Architecture Day. The theme of World Architecture Day 2016 is “Design a Better World”.

The professor was distinguished for her contributions to the “promotion and dissemination of the Portuguese architecture in several countries and continents”. This distinction took place this Wednesday, during the celebration of the World Architecture Day 2016.
