HellKeeper and Uranus are projects developed by Técnico students that will feature the top-ten finalists of PlayStation Awards, which will be presented at Lisboa Games Week.
Hellkeeper, created by Carlos Margarido, Tiago Cardoso, Luís Oliveira and André Santos, started development and flourished as a project for the courses of Game Development Methodology and Multi-Agent Systems.
Uranus was developed by Alexandre Esteves and Isaque Sanches, students of Information Systems and Computer Engineering.
The two games were selected among a list of more than 50 candidates and will be presented at Lisboa Games Week, which will take place from 17th to 20th November, at Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL).
The winner of PlayStation Awards will be announced in January 2017 and will be awarded: €10,000 funding for the development of a videogame; publication of the game on PlayStation Network for PS4; PlayStation 4 development kit; marketing campaign worth €50,000; physical space in Lisbon to work on the project during a 10-month period.
