Circular Economy 101 MOOC in its third edition, is the result of a collaboration between 3drivers and Instituto Superior Técnico, sponsored by Fundo Ambiental.
This online course, open and free of charge, explains how the circular economy is our opportunity to shift towards a regenerative and resilient model with a new economic paradigm. The circular economy seeks long-term economic and ecological value by designing out of waste; keeping materials and products at the highest value possible for the longest time possible; and ensuring that these become nutrients for new cycles of value once they reach their end of life.
Target audience:
This online course is targeted to university students with any background, with the aim of enhancing learning about circular economy and its different dimensions, allowing them to develop the necessary skills to make a transition to a circular economy.
Materials and certification:
• The course is free and takes place entirely online;
• The contents are always open and participants take the course at their own pace;
• The Certificate of Accomplishment will be released to anyone who successfully completed the course by achieving 60% of the assessment activities;
• The course materials will remain available to all registered users after the end of this edition, so that they can return to the content at a later date;
• The course will be held in Portuguese and English to attract students in Portuguese-speaking countries.
