Applications are open for the Técnico Alumni Mentoring Program 2025/2026. All Técnico students enrolled in degree-awarding study cycles are eligible to participate. After registering, students can browse available alumni profiles and select up to three potential mentors.
The program aims to enable mentees to make more informed decisions about their academic and professional paths, with support in defining a career plan, building a network of contacts and approaching the job market. Mentors, on the other hand, will have the opportunity to positively impact the future of the students they will be accompanying.
The presentation session of the 8th edition of the Técnico Alumni Mentoring Program will take place on 10 December, at Técnico Innovation Center powered by Fidelidade. This session marks the official start of the program: it includes the program overview with next steps and practical guidance, and the first meeting between mentors and mentees.
The program aims to provide a structured space for conversation and follow-up, with autonomy for each pair to define their goals, pace and format of interactions. Students can join the programme with a clear objective already in mind or build one with their mentor’s support, shaping the journey to what makes the most sense for their context.
In 2024, the program recorded 235 enrolled students and 192 alumni, highlighting the value of direct experience-sharing and practical perspectives on professional life, helping turn doubts into better-informed decisions.
