On 25 July, Instituto Superior Técnico will join the celebrations of the 26th anniversary of the Pavilion of Knowledge – Centro Ciência Viva. The event, organised by the Ciência Viva network, has free admission and features a programme focused on robotics and artificial intelligence, aimed at all ages.
Among the activities promoted by Técnico is the ‘Liga da Lata,’ organised by the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR-Lisboa). This activity brings together robots developed by secondary and higher education students, challenging them to demonstrate solutions for autonomous navigation and interaction with their environment. The prototypes showcased have previously participated in competitions such as RoboCup and the National Robotics Festival.
Outside the Pavilion, near the fountain, visitors can also observe a pool with marine robots, highlighting the potential of underwater robotics developed at Técnico.
Throughout the day, visitors will have the opportunity to watch demonstrations, participate in workshops, and explore various technological installations located in the Pavilion of Knowledge (indoors and outdoors).
