Unite! Research School is back in November with a new edition in France

Applications are open until 30 July 2025. This free initiative will bring together master's and doctoral students from partner universities in Autrans, Grenoble.

The 2nd edition of the Unite! Research School will take place from 3 to 7 November 2025 in Autrans, near Grenoble (France). The initiative, promoted by the Unite! alliance, targets master’s and doctoral students from partner universities, including Universidade de Lisboa (and, therefore, Instituto Superior Técnico), and aims to promote scientific collaboration around interdisciplinary challenges on a European scale.

This year’s programme has a multidisciplinary approach, with sessions dedicated to space and technology, biology, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Activities focused on the development of transversal skills, considered fundamental in the training of young researchers, are also planned.

The Unite! Research School is a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), which results in the award of 3 ECTS to master students and 30 hours of training to doctoral students. The programme combines in-person and online meetings, before and after the meeting in France.

Activities include workshops, panel discussions, collaborative research challenges and visits to research centres in Grenoble. Registration is free and includes accommodation and meals from 3 to 7 November. Additional funding may be available through an Erasmus+ grant.

Applications must be submitted by 30 July 2025 via the metacampus platform.
