The Department of Mathematics at Instituto Superior (DMIST) organises the 14th Mathematics Winter School on 18th and 19th February 2022, in hybrid format (face-to-face: room PA1/ online: via Zoom).
The MWS is aimed at Bachelor and Master students, and includes:
-a presentation of the IST Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computation;
-a presentation of the IST Master’s degree in Data Science;
-lectures by mathematicians from both pure and applied fields;
-short presentations by current and former masters students;
-roundtable session with alumni, organised by NMATH;
-a session with BNP Paribas.
