The Santa Bárbara Seminar Series, organised by the Mining students’ organisation (NUMIST), will bring together students, professors, and staff from the Department of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering (DER) and professionals from the Resources industry Minerals and Energy. The event will take place on 4 December, from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., in the Great Hall of Instituto Superior Técnico.

Under the theme “The Industry’s Evolution: Challenges and Expectations”, the event will feature lectures, a Business Fair, and a debate with professionals from the mining and energy sectors.

The Santa Bárbara Seminar Series is a unique opportunity to deepen knowledge, learn about practical cases, and foster connections between students, alumni, faculty, and industry.
