«The Centre for Theoretical Particle Physics (CFTP) and the Laboratory of Instrumentation and Experimental Particle Physics (LIP) are pleased to announce the 9th Mini-School on Particle and Astroparticle Physics, on 5th and 6th February 2024, at Hotel Inatel, in Oeiras.

The 9th Mini-School is aimed primarily at Physics or Physics Engineering 3rd-year students, although 2nd-year students can also register. The Mini-School will take place entirely in person.

On the first day, there will be introductory lectures on various topics. The second day will consist of practical tutorials (morning) and a session in which CFTP and LIP researchers will talk about research opportunities (afternoon).

Master’s and PhD students from both research centres will present posters on their current research work. This will be an opportunity for undergraduate students to exchange views with colleagues from more advanced years.»
