«The Técnico Career Center is hosting a new Alumni Talks: Consulting Edition session on December 9, 2025, at Técnico Innovation Center powered by Fidelidade. The event will bring together students and alumni for an informal brunch and an open conversation about careers in the consulting sector.
During the session, alumni with consulting experience will share their firsthand insights into what it means to work in the consulting field. They will discuss the skills that make a difference, how to build a career path starting from Técnico’s fields (engineering and architecture), and the various challenges and opportunities that may arise in different business contexts. The goal is to strengthen the connection between academia and the professional world through practical testimonies, opportunities for questions, experience sharing, and networking.
This edition aims to highlight consulting as a career option for Técnico graduates, helping participants clarify expectations, explore alternatives, and better understand possible next steps, from preparing for recruitment processes to developing key transferable skills valued by the market.
