The book “Revit para Estudantes de Arquitetura”, published by AEIST, will be launched on June 28, at 6 p.m., in the Civil Engineering Museum.

It aims to teach students how to apply this digital tool to the development of project exercises. Revit’s features are explained in a sequential and logical way, according to the needs of the design proccess. This will allow students to become gradually familiar with the software as a working methodology.

This book is based on a pedagogical project and provides a new approach to Revit teaching, emerging within the scope of MVGE (Geometric Modeling and Building Visualisation) – a curricular unit of the Integrated Master in Architecture (2nd year) at Instituto Superior Técnico. The book aims to facilitate and accelerate the inclusion of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology into university teaching.
